Udupi, Sep 6: “Anyone can look after normal children. But there are only a few who can look after mentally, physically challenged children. The work of the staff and teachers of Pambooru hostel who look after physically, mentality children in a good way is really appreciable,” said Kaup former regional president Y Sukumar.
He was addressing after felicitating the teachers and staffs of Manasa Rehabilitation and Training Center, Pambooru on behalf JC Week, prelude to teacher’s day, organized by Kaup JCI, Jacreet division and South Kanara Photographers Association Kaup zone on Wednesday September 4.
On this occasion, 45 teachers and staff were felicitated for their service. They also opined that Kaup JCI, Jacreet division and South Kanara Photographers Association Kaup zone are doing pro-social programme and such programmes will be good example to other organizations.
Remedia D’ Souza, center chief said, “Though government has neglected our organization, organizations like Kaup JCI, Jacreet division and South Kanara Photographers Association Kaup zone are coming forward to organize beautiful programmes. Such programmes were never held in our organization. Moreover this is more than national award for us.”
Kaup ZP member Arun Shetty Padooru, zone director Deepak Kumar Ermal, SKPA Kaup zone president Ravi Kumar, honorary president Baktha Prasad, secretary Vinod Kaup, Kaup Jacreet division president Soumya, Ramesh Nayak, Week chief director Anil Kumar were present.
Kaup JCI president Rakesh Kunjoor presided and welcomed, SKPA Kaup zone former president Praveen Kurkal thanked.
