Mangalore: Cresilla Lobo shines at young managers national-level contest in Delhi

Mangalore, Sep 4: Cresilla Jasmine Lobo (nee Monteiro) has done her hometown Mangalore proud by winning the first runner-up at the 39th National Competition for Young Managers in Delhi held recently.
The event was organized by All India Management Association at Hotel Sheraton in Saket, New Delhi. Close to 171 teams participated from four zones (Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai and Kolkata) across the country.
Cresilla and her team comprising Rohit Chaudhary and Adarsh Kudupu (another contestant from Mangalore) contested in the Mumbai zone winning the first place, leaving behind 42 companies in the month of July. She and her team then qualified to the finals where they fought out with seven other best corporate teams to win the runners-up trophy at the grand finale. Cresilla represented her company Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions, Bangalore where she is currently working as a project manager for the technical writing team.
The team had to submit their essays on the topic “Inspired leadership for Turbulent Times and the Power of Youth”. On selection, the team was expected to make a 15-minute presentation followed by 15-minute Q and A. This also included a Calipre test that the contestants were expected to render in. Esteemed judges from the corporate fraternity graced the occasion.
Daughter of the late Clifford Monteiro and Noreen Monteiro from Valencia, Cresilla lives in Bangalore with her husband Maxim Lobo and their little daughter Erika Lobo. She has a younger brother Nitesh Monteiro who lives with his family in Dubai.
Her hobbies and interests include writing poetry, dance, dramatics, recitation, compering and creative writing. She is the former secretary of Kanara Catholic Association, Bangalore and has also actively participated in many of its events.
