Kundapur, Aug 31: “The Dundi novel authored by Yogesh Master describing Lord Ganesha as ‘cruel and rowdy’ has hurt the religious sentiments of Hindus. Adding to this, the book was released during the festival of Lord Ganesha. Case should be filed and strict action should be taken against the author and the publisher of the book,” said Vijay Kumar, Udupi district convener of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti.

He addressed the gathering during the protest organized by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti at Shastri circle on Friday August 30.

Laxmish Havaldar, Raghuveera Nagarkar, Mahabaleshwar, Umesh, Shobha, B G Kamath, Laxmi Navunda among others were present.
