Nine killed in Pakistan firing


Islamabad, Aug 24 (IANS): At least nine people were killed in two separate incidents of firing outside two seminaries in Pakistan, media reports said.

Two unknown gunmen riding a motorbike opened fire at people who were coming out of a seminary after offering night prayers Friday, a Xinhua report citing Geo TV said.

Two men died on the spot while another was injured in the attack.

The injured man later succumbed to injuries in the Pakistan Institute of Medical and Health Sciences, Islamabad.

Police said the slain people were religious scholars and the militants fled the scene after attacking them.

In a separate incident in Bhakkar area of Punjab province, six people were killed and eight injured in firing between two religious groups outside a seminary.

    Time to induct every indian especially the students after 12th grade into 3 years of intense hard core military training for both males/females .

    But need total DISCIPLINE - moulding character- empowering with trade /skill.
    In the globe and every continent there are various resources ex: In africa- in south america-etc.
    we ned to train and deploy our young india with great attitude- perfect discipline-great skills- productivity they can do wonders.
    We should have kiran bedi as the minister for this area.
    Put Columbus to shame.
