Cabinet okays amendment to food bill

New Delhi, Aug 22 (IANS): The cabinet Thursday okayed an amendment to the Food Security Bill to protect the present grain allocation of states, sources said.

The amendment seeks to address the concerns of states that the food bill might lead to slashing of their grain allocation, said sources.
