Panaji, Aug 20: Written and directed by Tomazinho Cardozo ‘Hello Uncle’ is yet another tiatr production during this rainy season which will enthrall the audience. ‘Hello Uncle’ is produced by the award winning dramatic troupe ‘Kala Mogi Candolim’.
This is for the first time that Tomazinho Cardozo and his dramatic troupe are presenting a tiatr ‘Hello Uncle’ on a commercial basis. The tiatr will be staged in Gomant Vidya Niketan Margao on august 21 at 3:30 pm and at Kala Academy Panjim on 23rd August at 7:45 pm.
‘Hello Uncle’ is a farcical play and provides a lot of entertainment throughout the duration of the play. It is full of comedy sequences and ultimately ends in giving a message that awakens today’s youth to be responsible and non-dependable on others.
In order to entertain the audience with attractive songs, Tomazinho Cardozo has added prominent singers of tiatr stage such as Sharon Mazarello, Wilmix Mazarello and Joe Rose.
Besides these entertainers ‘Hello Uncle’ will feature the winner of ‘Kingfisher voice of Goa’ and ‘Sod 3 International’ Akash Telgu.
‘Kala Mogi Candolim’ is a dramatic troupe which has made lot of efforts to improve the quality of tiatrs during the last 34 years through the yearly competitions organized by Kala Academy Goa.
Award winning artistes such as Irene Cardozo, Jocelyn Misquita, Selza Lopes, Larissa, Maria Cardozo, Matias Mascarenhas, Assis Cardozo, Edwin Fernandes, Shivanand Naik, Dyaneshwar Morajkar, Tukaram Naik, Eugene Cardozo, and Joao Cardozo too features in different roles.
These artistes are award winning artistes of Kala Academy in numerous tiatrs that Kala Mogi Candolim has staged in the yearly tiatr festivals organized by Kala Academy Goa.
In fact Kala Mogi Candolim has won the first place for performances atleast 12 times besides 2nd prize for performance four times and 3rd prize for performance five times.
Tomazinho Cardozo as director has bagged the best director award 12 times and best script writer award 11 times.
The music arrangement is led by Luis Cota, light effects by Rohan Morajkar, stage setting by Timoty Dias, background music by Joy Fernandes and the play has been written and directed by Tomazinho Cardozo.
