Udupi, Aug 16: Popular comedian of Bollywood Johnny Lever, who has brought laughter among millions of Indians over the decades, was the cynosure of all eyes at Kaup here on Friday August 16.
He was in town to inaugurate a drinking water project for Kaup government model higher primary school, under the aegis of Kaup JCI.
Speaking on the occasion, Lever said that he has been visiting the districts of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi for the last forty years and he likes the region for its environment and people. He said he would always remember the special bond he shares with people of Tulunadu.
"Many people from Tulunadu have reached great heights in Bollywood. Good-hearted Tulunadu residents have made great progress not only in Bollywood but in all spheres. People of Tulunadu and Bollywood share a close relationship," he said.
