Mangalore: Namo Brigade rally for Modi as PM, call against corruption

Mangalore, Aug 15: “I have always been CM, I am CM today and shall be CM forever. For me CM means not chief minister, but Common Man. Do not dream to be something, but rather dream to do something great,” with these words of Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi, the ‘Namo Brigade’ flagged off its bike rally at Karavali Utsav grounds here on Thursday August 15.
Namo Brigade is an organization of like-minded people who want Narendra Modi as the country's next Prime Minister.
On Independence Day, ‘Namo Brigade’ held the rally to create public awareness against corruption, internal security and anti-national activities, and called upon people to support Narendra Modi as the next PM.
The rally was flagged off by offering flower petals to the portrait of Bharat Mata.
The rally which the commenced from Karavalli Utsav grounds passed through prominent streets in the city and ended at the same ground with the national song Vande Mataram.
More than 800 motor bikes, 50 vehicles and more than 2,100 Namo Brigade activists and college students participated in this rally. They also chanted Modi's popular slogan 'Ek Bharath, Shreshth Bharath'.
