Los Angeles, Aug 14 (IANS): Socialite Kim Kardashian's friends think that rapper Kanye West is too controlling and that he is making too many decisions for her.

The "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star's close friends think that West has forced her to completely change her lifestyle.

"Kanye wants to make sure that every single aspect of Kim's life is now handled the way he wants it to be," a source told tmz.com.

"He is controlling everything - from her wardrobe to business choices and it's definitely a change for Kim, who has always relied on her mother to take care of her. A lot of what Kim does now is dictated by Kanye," added the source.

Kim, 32, who gave birth to her first child, daughter North West, in June, has reportedly decided to take a break from her long-time publicist, Jill Fritzo, as she wants to enjoy a break from the spotlight.

"This is just another way Kanye is asserting his control over Kim and trying to make sure she follows his lead in everything instead of what her own mother has always done, which is completely expose every aspect of her life to the public for money.

"Kanye is different. He isn't a reality star and he doesn't want Kim to be so public with their personal lives anymore," added the source.

The couple is currently planning a huge wedding and West, 36, is said to be the driving force behind their special day, as he wants to get married more than Kim, who was previously married twice before.
