Panji, Aug 12 (PTI): Goa's draft industrial policy will be unveiled on August 14 and then thrown open to public scrutiny before it is finalised.
Atul Pai Kane, who heads the task force set up by the government to prepare the investment-cum-industrial policy, said the draft was been given a few final touches.
Kane also told PTI that the task force would meet the August 14 deadline for handing in the draft to the government.
Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar recently held a meeting with the task force members and another meeting will be held later this week.
The policy, as promised by the BJP government in the budget, aims at attracting Rs 5,000 crore worth investment and generate 50,000 jobs over the next five years.
