Mangalore, Feb 2: Mangalore Refineries and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL) and Hinduja (Ashok Leyland Project Services-ALPS) have signed an agreement to start non-oil service centres/outlets in different parts of the country.
As per the agreement, both MRPL and ALPS will invest 45% each share while the remaining 10% will be raised from various financial institutions. It has also been agreed to open non-oil service stations throughout the country while the head office will be based in Chennai.
ALPS is a sister concern of Ashok Leyland, one of the prominent vehicle production companies of the country, will give its services in the outlets of MRPL.
The outlets will consist of rest room, trucking cenrte, auto and spare parts units, garage, communication centres, hotels/cafeteria, ATMs etc.
