Kasargod: KSRTC bus kills shop employee

Kasargod, Aug 11: A shop employee was killed on Saturday August 10 after a KSRTC bus plying to Mangalore rammed him near city police station.

The deceased has been identified as Dinesh Bhat (58), who was working at the grocery shop. The incident took place around 8 am when Dinesh was walking towards the shop from home. He suffered severe injuries and died on the spot.

The police arrived half-an-hour later after the incident, said an eye witness.

The body is now shifted to general hospital for post mortem.
