Parliament adjourned till noon over soldiers' killings

New Delhi, Aug 6 (IANS): Both houses of parliament were Tuesday adjourned till noon after MPs, including of the BJP, disrupted proceedings raising slogans over the deaths of five Indian soldiers in Jammu and Kashmir.

In the Lok Sabha, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Samajwadi Party (SP) members went near the speaker's podium and raised slogans protesting the killing of five Indian Army soldiers by Pakistani troops that had crossed across the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district Monday night.

In the Rajya Sabha too, opposition MPs protested the killings in Poonch and against Chinese incursions across the Line of Actual Control, especially in Ladakh region of Jammu and Kashmir.
