New Delhi, Aug 3 (IANS): It was a hot, sunny morning in Delhi Saturday with minimum temperature settling a notch above the season's average at 27.5 degrees Celsius. The met department has forecast rain and thundershowers in some parts of the city.
"The skies will remain generally cloudy with rain and thundershowers occurring in some areas of the city," said an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official. Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 74 percent.
"The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 36 degrees Celsius," added the IMD official.
Friday's maximum temperature settled two notches above average at 36 degrees, while the minimum temperature settled at 27.5 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average.
