Kundapur: One of the rider on a motorbike, who was injured hit by a bus opposite Sridevi Nursing Home in the town on Monday, succumbed to injuries.

The deceased has been identified as Gopal Poojary (40), a resident of Kody. Kundapur police have stated that Gopal, who was admitted into a private hospital at Manipal after sustaining severe injuries breathed his last at midnight, without responding to treatments. Ram Poojary, pillion rider of the bike, is being treated at a private hospital in Kundapur. Police have registered a case against the bus driver.
