Kundapur: 23-year-old commits suicide in hospital room

Kundapur, Jul 14: A youth who was working at a canteen of Koteshwar Hospital for the past 10 years committed suicide in one of the hospital rooms on Saturday July 14.

The deceased has been identified as Nataraj (23), son of late Krishna Marakala from Petri Cherkadi.

Nataraj who was running the canteen in partnership went missing in the afternoon after he had served food to patients and hospital staff. Later during the search, he was found dead in a nurse room.

It is said that Nataraj hanged himself from the fan using a shawl belonging to the nurse.

Police found a death note in his pocket which stated that inability to repay a loan had forced him to take the extreme step.

Kundapur police have registered a case.

    May his soul RIP!! Availing of loans from loan sharks and even established banks and financial institutions at sky high interest rates and then defaulting then that person would have had it!! The lenders will try all the tricks of their trade to bring the severest pressure that if one is not able to arrange to payback through some other means then the other way out is mostly suicide!!!

    GOLDEN RULE NEVER EVER AVAIL OF LOAN FROM LOAN SHARKS, THOSE RELATED TO MAFIA, CREDIT CARDS, OR UNSECURED PERSONAL LOAN FROM BANKS ESPECIALLY PVT. ONES!!

    Wooh..He didn't get better place to commit suicide !! No river,well,his own canteen,home,railway track,setting himself on fire,hanging in forest,consuming poision..Nothing came to his mind except NURSE ROOM ! That too with the help of shawl belonging to nurse. I can see BIG SPELLING MISTAKE here..

    Dear Jaimini I think he had some other issues,that is why he committed suicide there.Laal dupatta mal mal ka.....He did not disclose actual reason.In kannada this is called "praya dosha".

    Could it be that he took loan from the nurse in whose room he committed suicide ? Else, being a canteen person (not even hospital staff), he won't take the liberty of coming inside her room and especially taking her Dupatta.
