Mangalore, Jan 20: Varadaraj Suvarna Manjeshwar, son of Harish Poojary and Nalini from Manjeshwar, has designed a model and blueprint for the Ganapathi Temple to be built at Toronto in Canada.

The opportunity to Varadaraj was given by Dakshinamurthy, a native of the city, who got a chance to prepare the blueprint for the temple to be constructed in Canada.  He made Varadaraj to prepare a model suitable to his blueprint and sent it to Canada.

The model has been made of fibre sheet, paper, rut, mount board and plaster of Paris.  3 feet wide and 6 feet in height, the model weighs about 10 kgs, and was prepared in 20 days.

Varadaraj has been preparing models for the last six years. He has the distinction of preparing models for Guttumane at Pilikula Nature Park, MBA building of Nitte Education Trust and Bhagavati Temple at Kudroli.
