Mangalore, Jan 19: K Ashraf, mayor, Mangalore City Corporation, has been selected as the only representative from the council of Mayors from the state, to tour Australia and New Zealand and attend the International Civic Administration conference.
The mayor will be accompanied by J R Lobo, deputy director, Karnataka Urban Infrastructure Development and Finance Corporation (KUIDFC).
Speaking about the tour, the mayor said that he is looking forward to know improving the civic administration and visit some of the civic amenities and installations like underground cabling, water management and distribution system.
Ashraf will take off on Thursday January 20 from Mumbai to Sydney.
