Los Angeles, Jul 6 (IANS): Australian singer Dannii Minogue has stepped down from her role at the fashion brand she set up.
The 41-year-old confirmed she will not have any involvement with her Project D fashion company. The news came just weeks after she ended her business partnership with the label's co-founder, Tabitha Somerset Webb, reports contactmusic.com.
Minogue previously insisted she would be "considering a number of options for the Project D brand moving forward", but she has now decided to walk away from the company she helped to create.
"In March 2010, I teamed up with Tabitha Somerset Webb to launch the fashion label Project D. Over the past three years we have launched a clothing line, a fragrance and a watch collection. I have now decided to step down from the brand and will no longer be associated with Project D London moving forward,” Minogue said in a statement.
"I have loved being a part of PD and am proud of what we have achieved. I wish Tabitha all the best with her business and would like to thank every person who supported us in this project,” she added.
