Mangalore, Jul 5: Dakshina Kannada district Khazi Shaikunha Thwaka Ahmed Musliyar blessed the foundation stone-laying ceremony for a new building of Noorulla Ulaam Madarasa – a part of Mohiuddhin Jumma Masjid, Kudroli, on Thursday July 4.
Speaking on the occasion, Khazi Ahmed said, “To provide Islamic education, Madarasas were erected across the country ever since Malik Dheenar came to India to preach the teachings of this religion.”
Kudroli Jamia Masjid president K S Mohammed Masood was the president of the stage programme. Manglaore central Jumma Masjid Katheeb V K Sadakulla Fakhi presented the introductory speech.
Mohiuddhin Jumma Masjid president Haji Abdul Azeez H B T., Iqbal Haji, DK district Madarasa management committee president I Mohiddenabba Haji, Mangalore range Madarasa management committee president Abdul Khadar Evergreen, S M Rasheed Haji of S.M.R. Group, Mangalore, Muslim central committee DK and Udupi district secretary Haji Hanif, Mansoor Ahmed, former corporator B Haji Abboobakkar, Sulaiman S, and Sirajuddhin were among others present on the occasion.
Khateeb Adul Dhareemi Kukkila of Kudroli Mohiuddhin Jumma Masjid welcomed and Haji Samshuddheen proposed the vote of thanks.
