Kundapur: A mentally ill woman on Wednesday committed suicide by throwing herself into the river. Jyothi Crasta (28) who hails from Nada village was married and residing at Movadi since four years. Jyothi became mentally ill during her first delivery two years back and several types of medication showed no signs of improvment and is said to have ended her life. A case has been registered at the Gangoli police station.
