Mangalore, Jan 18: The Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) organised a protest in front of Kadri police station on Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion, DYFI leader Muneer Katipalla accused the police of being associated with the Bajrang Dal workers.
When Bajrang Dal workers attacked the DYFI workers, the police did not take action against the accused instead the case was filed against the DYFI workers, he said. The police also misbehaved, he said.
He alleged the Bajrang Dal of targeting the DYFI leaders and members.
Various leaders of DYFI participated in the protest. Prior to the protest a procession was taken from Nantur Junction to Kadri station.
