Kundapur, Jan 14: A young man was killed when a bike rammed into a lorry near Byndoor here on Friday January 13 evening.
The deceased has been identified as Sanjiv Madival (29), son of Acchu Madival of Aloor. He was on his way home riding his mobike when a lorry ahead of him stopped suddenly without giving any signal. As a result he went and rammed into the lorry from behind and fell on the road head-on. He sustained serious injuries in his head.
Though he was rushed to the hospital immediately, he succumbed to the injuries half the way. Kollur police have registered a complaint in this regard.
