Sullia: Girl raped, obscene pictures uploaded in FB - relative arrested

Sullia, Jun 21: A team of policemen led by local police inspector, Sudarshan, has arrested a youth, who allegedly raped a girl, shot her obscene pictures on camera, and uploaded them on Facebook.

The arrested accused has been identified as Kusumadhar (26), from Morangallu in Aletti village in the taluk. He runs a tea stall in Bangalore, it is learnt.

The aggrieved girl is a clerk in the forest department, and a relative of Kusumadhar. She had registered a case against the alleged rapist in police station.

It is learnt that Kusumadhar was in love with a distant relative. But, the family of the girl was not in favour of this alliance. Kusumadhar is said to have invited the girl to a secluded house in the guise of speaking to her about his proposal to marry her. There, he reportedly raped her, shot her nude photos by using his camera, and uploaded them in Facebook, it is said. The family of the girl perceives that Kusumadhar’s intention was to spoil the reputation of the girl, as he was angry at the rejection of his overtures by the family.

A case of rape and threatening a person has been registered against the accused. The girl had, in her complaint, said that Kusumadhar, in addition to uploading nude clips of the girl to her home page, also forwarded them to several of his Facebook friends.

    Still some of the followers of those ministers are continuing their masters chores (raping).
    It is absurd to blame present Govt. for these happenings.

    Still some of the followers of those ministers are continuing their masters chores (raping).
    It is absurd to blame present Govt. for these happenings.
    And about Saraayi - do not forget BJP scrapped Govt. manufactured Saraayi so that they can carryout their bootlegging activity with dirty liquor which was hazardous to the poor peoples' health...
    That is why you are blaming Siddu for announcing to make available BETTER QUALITY liquor at cheaper rates for the poorer class.
    You may twist and turn what is said by Siddu - that is usual for BJPians to do that.

    Home minister during his visit to the district talked nothing against the murder of Poornima, which was the headline of the day during his visit.
