Mangalore, May 15: In connection to the recent cattle theft from a house in Someshwar and then planting of cattle hooves in Tulsi Katte and compound of a Daivasthana, the Hindu Hitarakshana Vedike protested near Thokkottu bus stand on Tuesday May 14 demanding strict action against the accused.
Speaking on the occasion, Jeethendra S Kottary of Vishwa Hindu Parishad asked people to respect religious sentiments of Hindus through which it will be helpful for people of all religion to live in unity.
“Hindu religion is suffering from problems created by anti-Hindu’s. Earlier when Mughals tried to attack the sentiments of Hindus, Chatrapathi Shivaji chased them from the country. Whoever rules the state should not harm the religious sentiments of Hindus,” he said.
Adding to that, he demanded strict actions against the accused and asked the MLA of the area to take initiative in the matter and thus fulfill his duties which he promised.
Sharan Pumpwell, convener of Bajrang Dal, Dinesh Pai, Gorakshaka Pramukha of Hindu Hitarakshana Vedike, Gopal Kuttar, district secretary of VHP, Bhujanga Kulal, district convener of Bajrang Dal, Praveen Kuttar, Ganesh Kumpala, Charan Kuttar, Narayan Kumpala among others were present.
