Karkala: Teenager goes missing from Kukkundoor

Karkala, May 7: The town police station here has received complaint about a missing girl.
Manjula (40), wife of the late T N Gowda, residing at LIG Housing Colony in Kukkundoor village in the taluk, has stated that her daughter, Rakshitha (18), has gone missing since May 4. In her complaint, Manjula said that her daughter had left home at around 8 am on May 4, on the pretext of collecting national entrance test form from Manipal.
Rakshitha has since then, neither contacted her family members, not returned home, nor visited the houses of her friends and acquaintances, the girl’s mother has claimed.
The policemen have registered the case and taken up investigation.
Features: The missing girl is about 4’8” in height, with wheatish complexion. She wore black kurta with white flower prints on the top with black legging pants. She wore a gold chain with a golden pendant with Lord Ganapati’s picture on it around her neck, and simple rings in ears, with a golden ring in her finger. Rakshitha knows Kannada, Hindi and English.
