Mumbai, May 3: Uma Krishna Shetty, former working president, Bunts Women’s Association Mumbai, released a book, a collection of columns called ‘Tulu Tupe’ of Narayana Nandalike, who is also a renowned orator, dramatist, and director. The event took place at Bhavan, Matunga West, on Wednesday May 1.
Rathnakar Shetty Mundkoor, working president, Bunts Association, Mumbai’s monthly magazine ‘Bantara Vani’. On this occasion, Babu S Shetty Malad was the chief guest. Soda Gudda Shetty and Chandrahasa Shetty Shringeri were present as honorary guests on this occasion.
Uma Krishna Shetty, after releasing the book published by Pallavi Art Mumbai, said, “I am proud to say that the family of Nadalike is a family of artistes, and litterateurs. His character is so simple and humble. He has kept the liveliness of Tulu culture in his writings.”
Babu Shetty said the work of Nandalike is a boon to Tulunadu. “The work talks about culture and is really valuable. It will be inspirational to modern youth,” added Babu.
Writer Narayana Nandalike said the inspiration of Sunitha M Shetty, and support of Seetharam R Shetty had inspired his writings and today got him published.
