Barcelona, May 3 (IANS/EFE): Spanish fashion house Victorio & Lucchino unveiled a collection of bridal gowns at the Pasarela Gaudi Novia show in Barcelona with removable segments that allow them to be used as a party dress after the ceremony.
The apparently more austere 2014 Victorio & Lucchino collection is aimed at brides in cold countries and those who want to party until the early hours, enjoying the advantage of having two dresses in one.
The multi-purpose gowns are "almost a necessity" because the fashion house sells its creations around the world "and this way the brides can dress for the ceremony and for the party", the designers told EFE.
The gowns, distinguished by well-defined waistlines and classic lines, dominated the show.
The collection, designed by Merche Segarra, features fresh, clean and soft gowns for young brides, with more classic lines for large ceremonies and party dresses for brides taking another turn at the altar.
