The branch, which has been opened in Rishiraj Annexe, D’Souza Colony of Nasik, a famous pilgrimage centre, was inaugurated on Friday April 26 morning by Billavara Maha Mandal president and former working president and current director of Bharath Bank, Jaya C Suvarna, by cutting the ribbon. Nasik also finds mention in mythologies, as per which Lord Rama had visited it during the last phase of his life in the forest.
Bharath Bank is a completely reliable bank for the entire family. As it responded well to the financial needs of the customers and kept the interests of its customer the uppermost, it grew to such an eminent position within a short span of time. The hard work and honest services of the board of directors of the bank and employees have earned the goodwill the bank enjoys now. We want to spread the wings of the bank all over the country in tune with the name of the bank, based on trust and honest services, Jaya Suvarna said.
Gangadhar Amin lighted a lamp in the company of his wife, Prameela Gangadhar, and officially initiated the transactions at the branch. Vice president of the bank, Justice Rohini J Salian, inaugurated the ATM centre. Veteran director of the bank, Pushpalata N Salian, dedicated the lockers services of the bank to the world.
Local eminent personalities like Pratap G Patole, Sunil Chopra, Jayaprakash Runavath, spoke on the occasion and extended best wishes to the new branch. Bank’s directors, L V Amin, Jyoti K Suvarna, M B Sanil, Y Nagesh, Mohan G Poojary, Candrashekhar S Poojary, N Nityanand, Rohit M Suvarna, managing director and chief executive officer, C R Mulky, and others were present.
Religious rituals connected with the inaugural were conducted by K P Chandrakant Tantry. Santosh Salian and his wife took part in the puja rituals.
