Mangalore: Exhibition of old Konkani books at Jeppu on May 1

Mangalore, Apr 27: In view of Jeppu parish feast, an exhibition of old Konkani secular as well as religious books and antiques has been arranged at the Maria Jayanthi Mandir, Jeppu, here, from May 1.

Eminent poet and Sahitya Akademi Award Winner Melvyn Rodrigues will inaugurate the exhibition on May 1 at 10 am.

There will be a solemn mass at 5 pm and fancy fete and other cultural programmes have been arranged at the Jeppu Church open grounds for the cause of the needy on the same day.

There is no entry fee for the entertainment programme.
