Ramdev endorses Narendra Modi, gives thumbs down to Rahul Gandhi

Rajkot, Apr 12 (PTI): Yoga guru Baba Ramdev Thursday slammed Congress and its vice president Rahul Gandhi, while calling Narendra Modi the only "trustworthy" leader in the country.

"Congress ship will sink in 2014 general election because its leader, Rahul, has no development vision."

"The Congress-led UPA government has failed on all fronts and it will suffer its worst defeat in 2014 elections," Ramdev said, talking to reporters here.

Rahul was being promoted only because he belonged to Gandhi family, he added.

Praising Narendra Modi government in Gujarat, he said Modi was the "only trustworthy political leader in the country".

"He will become Prime Minister of the country with the blessings of senior BJP leader L K Advani," Ramdev said.

    The chudidhaar Baba is back again with new color.he has no party that can welcome him or ask him to campaign due to his extra-Baba activities. He is trying to accommodate himself somewhere without a reservation. The Modi fever will run upto the next LS election and then disappear because of shortage of MP’s in NDA. The Bihari babu is not ready to share his MP’s and at the same time Jayamma cannot share the diaz with Sushmakka and Uma.So the option is Mulayam with UPA with new terms.

    Only two partymen in the Congress are known to have involvement in the 1984 anti-Sikh riots, namely Jagdish Tytler and Sajjan Kumar and I believe if the Court finds them guilty they should receive the harshest punishment !!! However, Modi's involvement in giving rioters a free hand which resulted in the slaughter of innocents is well documented and cases are still ongoing.

    Do not assume here that if people are against Modi they are pro-Congress and anti-BJP. I believe that Modi is a bigot and I believe he has the blood of innocents on his hands which will not wash away.

    I would be able to accept if a leader like BJP's Sadananda Gowda (if he is not a Modi supporter) were CM or even PM but never never Modi !!!

He never seen a patient is from which religion. But people like to talking silly about him shows your profile.     Just reading the comments here itself I get the impression Modi has many haters as well as supporters. Modi is not a unifying figure but a divisive one. A country's development is not just economic progress of a part of the population but development has to be all round and for every Indian and that includes social equality. Even if the BJP/NDA come to power if Modi the bigot is made PM I fear for the fate of the minorities of this country. Either there will be chaos or minorities will be living in absolute fear. May be that is what the bigots wish for. India needs a PM who is a unifying figure.

This county would never accept Modi as PM, not only because of his role in riots, he is stubborn, arrogant, and someone looks more of dictator than a mass leader. In fact, BJP itself is so much worried about projecting him as PM candidate due to fear of votes getting polarized (I'm referring Arun Jaitley's statement)...I don’t think any Indian would like to see the nation getting divided just because of one person....

    No political party is innocent when it comes to 'Vote bank politics'. In Karnataka itself the BJP used Yeddy to woo the Lingayat community voters. What about the rest of the Kannadigas ? Who looks after their interests ? Vote bank politics in India is a reality. However, the danger is if vote bank politics gets transformed into communal riots resulting in the slaughter of innocent humans then that is not politics but 'Murder','Genocide','Community cleansing' call it what you like.     Modi is the best leader with a clear cut vision and proven results of transforming Gujarat into a region developing faster than China. He can scale this to cover whole of India which will be beneficial for all Indians.

    Rahul has not even managed a party or panchayat and has no vision except for fake degree certificates, fake name and fake promises. He hasn't won a single election. India cannot afford a 'buddhu' like him to waste another 5 years after the 'dumb, deaf and bling' MMS puppet PM now.

    It si time to look forward and towards a prosperous India and not through the eyes of pseudo secular and divisive tactics of the past 6o years of misrule under a dynasty.

    Dynasty politics is the same thing that the Shiv Sena's Thackeray family is practicing, the Akali Dal's Badal family is practicing and the DMK's Karunanidhi's family is doing.

    Dynasty may give you easy entry into politics but to come to power you need to win elections and that is what the Nehru-Gandhi family have done. The Indian people have voted for them several times. The Gandhi family have given two martyrs to this country Indira and Rajiv but Modi has abandoned his own wife !!

    Our own state's Veerappa Moily is there,then AK Antony,P Chidambaram,Prithviraj Chauhan etc.are all worthy alternatives to Dr.Manmohan Singh as Rahul is not clamouring for the PM's chair.

    Every Indian can give his opinion. Ramdev has said what almost all opinion polls/ survey reports says.
    More than 48% preffer Modi, where as Rahul stays far behind with 16%. See the double standard of Congi's. They welcome the opinion poll results of Karnataka, but dont want to accept the Opinion poll of Modi.
    More than 3000 sikhs were butchered under congress state govt and central goverment that also in Delhi, still congress is sacred for these psuedo secular people.

    I believe the Congress/UPA can seriously consider the present Finance Minister Mr.Palaniappan Chidambaram for Prime Minister in 2014. Even Tamil Nadu actor Kamal Haasan had suggested that a 'Dhoti clad' gentleman in Delhi could be the next PM of India.

    One more Yoga Guru turned Businessman bats for MODI!It is quite natural BABA should support him as their agenda is complementary to each other.As per his conviction, "Modi is only trustworthy political leader in the country"!!How poor his political knowledge is!!!!Baba Ramdev tried his best to come to limelight and in the process ditched Anna Hazare for his larger interest.It is people who are the endorser not RAMDEV and getting enough number of MPs also a daunting task under given political scenarios.
