Beltangady, Apr 2: “The culture of Sharana’s is not like the stagnant water, but it is the stream which flows with force. Only if the stream of humanity flows, exemplar society construction and development of society is possible,” said Bangalore Belimata Shivarudra Mahaswamiji. He was addressing the welcome programme at Sharana Sanskrithi Mahayathre held here.
“Dharma is the one which anticipates the goodness of all living beings. In perspective of Dharma equality should begin from home; there should be equality in family. Revolutionary Basavanna’s ideologies will be light to our future,” he added.
Aravindha Jathi president of Bangalore Basava committee in his key note address said Basavanna was the secular and super temporal visionary. The mission of this Sharana Sanskrithi Mahayathre is to develop the Sharana culture and to create awareness. The society should be organized with equality and we should protect our Sanathana culture, he added.
Dr D Veerendra Heggade presided over the programme. “The prominent principle of Sharana culture is ideology and equality; there should no differences in practice and ideology. By utilizing the opportunities in life we can live a happy life. The ideology of Basavanna has universal values,” he said.
Belimata Sidhalinga Swamijji, Proffessor Basavaraj Madhigonda, Dr B Yashovarma, Professor Mithun Chakravarthi were present on the occasion.
