Mangalore, Mar 29: A 22-year-old engineering student allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself in her hostel on Thursday March 28 evening.

Swathi, daughter of Ranganath hailing from Shimoga is fourth year Electrical and Communication student. She was married to Venkatesh.

She had left a suicide note which said she had committed suicide as she couldn’t attend her exams properly which was recently held.

A case has been registered in Konaje police station.
