Baghdad, March 24 (IANS): US Secretary of State John Kerry arrived here on an unannounced visit Sunday for talks with Iraqi leaders, an official Iraqi television reported.
During his visit, his first to Iraq since he took office in February, Kerry is expected to meet top Iraqi leaders, including Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, Xinhua reported.
They are expected to discuss political developments in the region as well as bilateral relations, the state-run Iraqia channel said.
Kerry flew to Iraq from Jordan.
