Mumbai, Mar 20: Bunts Sangha Mumbai will be organizing a mega convention of Bunts and world Bunts celebrations here on Sunday April 14. It has been organized to funds for the higher studies of world class students of community, besides to foster community bonds among different organizations of Bunts.
The symbolic inaugural will be held at Bunts Bhavan, here at 9 am on Sunday April 14. The announcement of World Bunts hymn, screening of documentary on Bunts, seminar, book release function, industrial and jewellery exhibition and sale, variety cultural shows depicting rich cultural hierarchy of Yakshagana will be held throughout the day on April 14.
A special supplement will be published related to the event in Taranga, Kannada monthly magazine published from Manipal, Udupi district of Karnataka, on the second week of April.
Bunts Sangh has the goal of fundraising to the tune of Rs 1 cr to help the world class community students to pursue professional courses. The beneficiaries are bound to repay their financial help once they start earning in gainful employments. The philanthropists within the community are urged to contribute their mite in this endeavor.
A meeting will be held at Bunts Sangha's AB Shetty Memorial Hall, Bunts hostel, Mangalore at 5.30 pm on Wednesday March 20 as part of World Bunts Day Celebrations.
