New Delhi, Mar 19 (IANS): The Rajya Sabha was disrupted Tuesday as DMK and AIADMK members created a din over the Sri Lanka issue.
The upper house saw two adjournments during question hour, first for 15 minutes and then at noon. When the house reassembled again, DMK and AIADMK members again trooped near the chairman's podium raising slogans.
Some waved placards with pictures of late Tamil Tigers chief Velupillai Prabhakaran's son Balachandran, who was allegedly shot dead by Sri Lankan troops in cold blood.
Amid the din, the house was adjourned till 2 p.m.
