Udupi: Shirva Church Sthree Sanghatan celebrates Women’s Day

Udupi, Mar 12: The Sthree Sangatan members of Lady of Health Church, Shirva, celebrated International Women’s Day in the mini hall of Shirva Church on Saturday March 9.

Fr Stany Thavro inaugurated the programme.

President of the association Jacintha D’Souza welcomed the gathering. Secretary Anitha Saldana read the report.
 
Assistant priests Fr GracianAlwaris and Naveen D’Souza, Sr Brijit Madta, former president Norbert Machado and secretary Melwin Aranha were also present on the dais.
 
Shreemathi Diana delivered vote of thanks. Leena Machado compered the programme.

Games were conducted after the stage programme. The whole programme came to a conclusion with a sumptuous lunch.

    Good and should be appreciated to conduct such activites for women,so that they can relax with their house hold works.Lets join our hands to support these womens who scarifice their precious time to organise these social sevice to support our culture and tradition.

    it is high time our catholic women come out and mingle with other women in the society, than restricting to stage programs. Congratulate all women who participated in the protest march and women's meet on 8th march organised by Mahila Dourjanya Virodhi vedike.
