Mumbai, Mar 1: The Bangera diamond greeting committee on Sunday February 24 organized 60th birthday celebration of social worker Sathish N Bangera Mukka at Gokul auditorium in Sayan (East).
Jaya C Suvarna, honorary president of Billava Association Mumbai presided over the function and felicitated Sathish N Bangera.
MB Kukkyan, chief editor of Akshay was the chief guest. He released the book ‘Sathish-Siddi and Sadane’ and honoured Sathish with the title ‘Samaja Karyaratnakara’. Shankunthala K Kotian, president of women’s wing released ‘Diamond calendar’ of Sathish.
As part of religious programme, Puja was performed.
Anusha Vasanth Salian and Aishwarya Mohandas Hejamadi performed Bharatanatyam. HBL Rao and Dayasagar Chowta conducted workshop on ‘Retired life and Reality’.
Chandrashekar Belchada welcomed the gathering and Vasanth Suvarna compered the programme.
