Los Angeles, Feb 25 (IANS): Austrian drama "Amour" bagged the prestigious Oscar award for the best foreign language film at the gala ceremony held here Sunday night.
Directed by Michael Haneke, the movie is about an old couple - two retired music teachers - and their life after the woman becomes partially paralysed.
"Amour" was competing for the prestigious trophy with "Kon-Tiki" (Norway), "No" (Chile), "A Royal Affair" (Denmark) and "War Witch" (Canada)
