Margao, Feb 19: The 4th Popular Tiatr Festival organized by Tiatr Academy of Goa was inaugurated on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at the hands of Sabina Fernandes, a versatile tiatr artiste at the Pai Tiatrist Auditorium, Ravindra Bhavan, Margao in the presence of Prince Jacob, president TAG, Joe Rose, vice president, Victor de Sa, member secretary and Fr. Bernardo Cota, Domnic D’Costa and Reginaldo Rodrigues, judges for the festival.
Altogether 9 tiatrs of well-known popular directors will be performed at this festival. The tickets for these tiatrs are priced at Rs. 40/-. ‘Tumchinch Bhurgim’ written and directed by Menino de Bandar was performed on the first day which was witnessed by a large crowd.
The awards presentation function will be held on 9th March 2013 at 4:00 pm at the Conference Hall, Ravindra Bhavan, Margao.
