Moscow, Feb 19 (IANS/RIA Novosti): A man in Russia is facing up to 20 years in prison after over 90 kg of marijuana was recovered from him.
The seized drugs have an estimated street value of over 13 million rubles (about $400,000).
Police seized the marijuana in Russia's Rostov region after officials received a tip-off about a 29-year old man offering to sell three bags of marijuana, said the Federal Drug Control Service without telling where exactly the incident took place.
Officers disguised as buyers bought over 90 kg of the drug and then found another five bags during a search of the man's home. They also found a forged police ID, marijuana seeds and drug paraphernalia.
The Federal Drug Control Service did not say when the incident took place.
If convicted of dealing in narcotics, the man may get 20-year prison term.
