Mangalore: Several injured as buses collide near Kudupu Temple

Mangalore, Feb 5: Several persons were injured in a head-on collision between two buses near Kudupu Temple here on Tuesday February 5 morning.
The accident occured when a Jain Travels bus plying from Karkala to Mangalore rammed into a Pradipta bus moving from Mangalore to Naravi at a turning near the temple.
The two bus drivers are among the injured. Around ten persons are said to have sustained serious injuries.
Close to 20 passengers reportedly escaped with minor injuries.
Two of the injured have been shifted to Tejaswini hospital and the rest to AJ hospital.
Kankanady police arrived at the spot and cleared the road for traffic.
