Rio de Janeiro, Jan 31 (IANS): Brazil and Sweden will meet in an international friendly football match in Switzerland Aug 14.
The match, to be played at St. Jakob Park in Basel, is the fifth friendly to be confirmed by Brazil's football confederation (CBF) so far this year, reports Xinhua.
Luiz Felipe Scolari's team will face England at London's Wembley Stadium Feb 6 followed by matches against Italy in Geneva (Mar 21), Russia in London (Mar 25) and a return fixture against England at Rio's Maracana Stadium June 2.
Brazil will then take part in the FIFA Confederations Cup on home soil from June 15 to June 30.
Sweden last met Brazil in an international friendly in Stockholm last August, a match the visitors won 3-0.
