Rio de Janeiro, Jan 27 (IANS): Inter Milan is reportedly set to offer Corinthians 15 million euros for Brazil international midfielder Paulinho.
The Italian Serie A club plans to bankroll the deal by selling playmaker Philippe Coutinho to Liverpool before the Jan 31 transfer deadline, reports Xinhua.
Inter coach Andrea Stramaccioni is understood to have told the club's president Massimo Moratti that Paulinho is the only player that interests him in the January transfer market.
Last year Sao Paulo-based Corinthians rejected an 8.5 million-euro offer from the Nerazzurri for the 24-year-old.
Paulinho, a holding midfielder who also has a penchant for scoring goals, was a member of Corinthians 2012 Copa Libertadores and FIFA Club World Cup-winning teams.
He cemented a berth in Brazil's national team last year and has been included in coach Luiz Felipe Scolari's squad for next month's friendly against England at London's Wembley Stadium.
