Kundapur: Police raid illegal cattle slaughter business, accused escape

Kundapur, Jan 25: Kundapur police led by crime inspector Revathi raided the premises of a butcher who was illegally slaughtering cattle in Gulvadi in Kudru village here on Friday January 25.
Accused Abubukkar, Samraddha and their accomplice fled from the spot.
It is learnt that Abubukkar had been illegally slaughtering cattle in the backyard of his house.
Acting on a tip-off, the police raided the place and seized ten cows, a weighing machine, ropes, animal skins and knives.
The cows were brought to Kundapur police station and later handed over to forest department.
A case has been registered in Kundapur police station.
