Udupi: Adiga Murder Case - Accused Identify Crime Spot

Udupi, Jan 23: Police on Tuesday January 22 brought the accused in the murder of RTI activist Vasudeva Adiga to Vandar and carried out investigation.
During the investigation, the accused is said to have showed the location where they kidnapped Adiga and threw his phone and the rod they used to hit on his head.
The place where the rod was hidden after the act was also shown by the accused. The rod was seized by the police.
In connection to the murder of Adiga, already 6 people have been arrested and court has ordered them police custody till January 24.
When accused were brought to Vandar for investigation, Adiga’s sister, who was in an agitated state, approched the accused and demanded to know why they murdered her brother. "God will never spare you for this cruel act which you did for money," she said and wept.
She asked DYSP Shibarooru to arrest the main accused soon and render strict punishment to all accused.
DYSP Yashoda Shibarur, Manjunath Kowri, Kundapur circle inspector, Shankarnarayana, PSI Dejappa among others were part of the investigation.
