With a Score of 99.4, Mangalorean Lad Excels in Australia Board Exam

Mangalore, Jan 19: Malcolm Rebello, a talented youngster of Mangalorean origin has done his parents and hometown proud, coming out with flying colours in year 12 exams conducted by the Australian board recently.
Malcolm has achieved a score of 99.40 in South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) and a perfect university score of 99.95 from both Adelaide Uni and Uni SA.
Malcolm, son of Melwin and Asha Rebello (Malpe / Kallianpur / Andheri East), did his primary schooling at St Francis of Assisi, Newton, Adelaide, where he excelled every academic year. He joined St Paul’s College at Gilles Plains, Adelaide in year 8 and came out successfully with high academic honours every year.
A gifted child, Malcolm got the College DUX for the year 2012, for his outstanding academic achievement in Specialist Mathematics, Mathematical Studies, Physics and Chemistry. Malcolm attributes his success to his persistent and committed efforts, and also to his teachers of St Paul’s. He further adds, "My parents' constant follow-ups and frequent discussions on studies helped me achieve this."
Malcolm enjoys playing the guitar during his spare time and helps the community through Salvation Army and St. Vincent De Paul. Malcolm believes in helping the community and has opted to take up Bachelor of Pharmacy through Uni SA.
