Mangalore: Konkani Sahitya Academy Invites Applications for Annual Honorary Award

Mangalore, Jan 19: The Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy has invited applications for its 2012 annual honorary awards and Konkani Book awards stated a press release.

The annual honorary award programme will be held with categories like Konkani Language, literature and arts.

The person who has rendered best service in three categories will be selected and honored during the awards ceremony. The last date for submitting applications for the honorary awards is January 31.

Applicants need to submit the details of their achievements along with their recent photographs to the registrar.

For the Konkani book awards, books released between December 31, 2012 to January 1, 2013 are eligible. Applicants who wish to send their details for the book awards should submit a minimum of 4 copies of their books by January 31.
