Udupi: Kidnapped Child Traced in Kushalnagar, Father Arrested

Udupi, Jan 19: Police on Friday January 18 traced a 5 year old child who was allegedly kidnapped by his father. The child was found near Kushalnagar.

The police also arrested the child's father Suresh Naik.

Suresh's wife had accused him of assualting her and was even admitted to Ajjarkad hospital. Suresh then allegedly kidnapped his five-year-old son with the help of his friends Salim alias Sadiq and Sadhu, and hid the boy in an unknown place.

A complaint was theb filed by Sangeeta, who said that the mother was depressed as she had not seen her child for the past 20 days.

Acting on the complaint, SI Lingaraj along with other officials like Rukmayya, Umesh, Sadananda conducted investigations about Suresh Nayak and arrested him from a lodge in Kushalnagar.

He was produced in court and remanded in judicial custody till January 31.

The child has been handed over to his uncle until further hearing.

    Indian child custody laws are highly against men ( father ) and makes them vulnerable. A vested woman can easily nail husband citing 'kidnapping reason' , more often it turns out to be a husband expecting equal custody of child. He loves the child , wants to be with him or her , but there is no legal clause for him to reach court. On other hand a women ( a mother ) can actually take advantage or immune to any case filed by husband . Make laws gender neutral . A FATHER IS NO LESS THAN A MOTHER....

    Now it is high time that all the parents should take care and educate their sons more than their daughters.
    At least in future we have a decent generation who will respect womanhood.
