Kundapur: Adiga Murder Case - Three More Accused Produced in Court

Kundapur, Jan 19: The police on Saturday January 19 produced three more persons accused in the murder case of RTI activist Vasudeva Adiga in court.
They have been identified as Mohan Udupa (25), Subramanya Udupa (45), and Ravichandra (25). All three have been remanded in police custody till January 24.
Subramanya Udupa is the brother-in-law of Ramesh Bayari, another suspect in the case who is still said to be absconding. Bayari was involved in a land dispute with Adiga, and it is suspected by the police that he had used Udupa to hire contract killers and pay them Rs 25 lac to finish Adiga.
Subramanya Udupa is an astrologer by profession and is based in Bangalore.
Before being produced in court, the three were taken to Kundapur government hospital for a checkup.
On Friday January 18, three other accused - Naveen, Umesh and Raghavendra were produced in the court and remanded in police custody till January 24.
Adiga was allegedly kidnapped on January 7 near Goliangadi, and five days later his body was found in a pond at Kadur in Chikmagalur.
